It’s time to keep the kids entertained!
At Planit Scotland, we love nothing more than thinking a little outside the box and coming up with new ideas to keep us busy – while providing a service that will be of use to others.
It is a daunting time at the moment, with guidelines and lifestyles changing rapidly from day to day. On top of this, parents and carers across the country have found themselves having their children home 7 days a week now that the schools and nurseries have closed – some of you may even be attempting to continue working, be it remotely or from an office during this time!
This can put a lot of pressure on parents and carers, trying to keep the children entertained all day – and that is where, we hope, Planit At Home can help!
We have created a brand-new Facebook group, and Instagram, that we vision will be used as a community for parents and carers to come together and share top tips on parenting at home 24/7. The project features ideas for online and offline activities – from educational resources to relaxed and less structured plans!
Let’s be kind to one another, and assist each other in what is for most people, quite a significant change in their lives. We are all in this together – and by supporting each other, we can get through this!
The team at Planit Scotland have also been busy scouring the internet and have sourced a number of fun activities and helpful hints and tips, which we will also be sharing with you.
We aim to have a focus each week on a certain subject, including tasks and competitions for children to take part in – watch this space!
